Topanito 100% Agave: Tequila, Mezcal Artesanal & Agave Syrup
Founded in 2011, Topanito began with three outstanding tequilas produced at the renowned “Casa Maestri” distillery in the historic town of Tequila – known for its expertise in crafting premium 100% agave tequila. While standard „mixto“ tequila can legally be made with just 51% agave sugars, 100% agave tequila uses only the sugars naturally fermented from the Blue Weber Agave – resulting in a superior product ideal for bars that value full agave flavor and top quality in their cocktails.
Topanito tequila is made with a strong focus on traditional craftsmanship: the agave hearts are slow-cooked in brick ovens, fermented with natural yeast, and distilled twice in small batches using copper pot stills. For particularly intense and flavorful cocktails, we created Topanito Blanco 50%, a high-proof tequila that gives classic drinks like a Margarita or modern craft creations an extra layer of complexity.
Mezcal – For Sipping and Mixing
Since 2019, Topanito has also offered two highly aromatic Mezcal Artesanal expressions. Available at 40% and 52% ABV, both mezcals deliver a refined smokiness – never overpowering – and are excellent neat or in cocktails. The fruit-forward 40% version and its stronger, BBQ-scented sibling each offer a distinctly authentic taste of Mexico.
